The Sammy Con was put together as a huge celebration for fans of the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar. Each year fans of Sammy Hagar would all get-together & meet other fans, & basically have one big party. This was a 100% fan convention, so everything was decided & put together by the fans.
There hasn't been a Sammy Con in several years, so we shouldn't make this a habit. 2006 should mark the return of the Sammy Con!
For those who are interested, speak up! If you would like to spend a weekend partying to Sammy's music & meeting other Redheads, then let everyone else know. Spread the word.
