Misc. Info
|
Didn't get into Sammy until '86 when he joined Van Halen. After that, I started exploring his back catalog and actually liked it. Waited 6 years to reach Cabo (I was stationed in Japan), and after suffering through everyone's posts about how great it was while I was in Japan, I have to say that the wait was well worth it! We were there for Sam's "I Can't Turn 55" B'day Bash in 2002, complete with a reunion of Los Tres Gusanos. There will never be another solo Hagar gig I'll attend that will ever be able to match what I experienced in Cabo. The atmosphere of the REDHeads is one of family. Everyone, complete strangers, seems to take care of one another. Really cool.
